REVIEW

Raj Kumar Santoshi, an expert in his genre has another time delivered a comic series presented in a healthy and causal way. The Movie revolves around the story of Vishwas Rao (Shahis Kapoor) who is an aspiring actor but his circumstances forces him to become a fake cop.

The ‘dreamy-star’ is not similar to other cops who are quite familiar and used to of violence. He tries to avoid violent events as he cannot afford any mark on his charming face which will make him a superstar one day. So, he deals with tough time overcoming such terms which invites many funny and hilarious instances.

Kajal (Ileana D’Cruz) on the other hand is a social worker who pays frequent visits to the police stations regarding her complaints. With numerous complaints dropping in every day by the actress, the police officials actually tag her as ‘Complaint Kajal’. Her complaints are usually denied to be looked upon as she mostly files them against the big shot people and political leaders.

The story takes turn after the encounter of the social worker’s complaint with the fake cop.

Shahid Kapoor (Read: While dating Kareena Kapoor, some of the most unsuccessful movies came my way) is best at his comic scenes whereas D’Cruz is certainly sweet and graceful. Even though, the latter has not been able to do a convincing job in the comic scenes due to her innocent profile, the duo has done justice to their respective roles. The special appearance by Salman Khan and Nargis Fakhri adds to the ‘masala’ in the movie (Read: Movie Review: Grand Masti).
