Story:
Yennamo yedho takes off with detective
played by Prabhu kidnapping Gautham [Gautham karthik]. On the journey,
Prabhu asks Gautham to entertain him with his Love story and his
narration leads to flashback. Gautham tells how he meets Nithya [Rakul
Preet Singh] in his girlfriend Simran's marriage and falls for her
accidentally; When Gautham thinks of expressing his love to Nithya, he
discovers she is engaged with Raja and stops communicating her. Later,
Nithya discovers her feelings for Goutham and breaks up her relationship
with Raja; but discovers Gautham had a fiancé. What will happen next?
Will Nitya and Gautham unite? Why did Prabhu kidnap Gautham forms the
rest of the story.
Performances:
Gautham Karthik has surpassed with boy next door looks and performed
well in the role of Gautham. Little enhancement in dancing and
confidance will take him to heights.
Rakul Preet Singh grabs your
attention with her on-screen presence and lovely expressions that are to
look for. Her costumes need a special mention.
Anupama Kumar is outstanding as
Gautham's mothers. Duo bonded well on-screen. Prabhu as a kidnaper
brings few laughs at places and did his parts well. Among others
Manobala and Madhan's comic timing is amazing.
Technical Analysis:
Yennamo Yedho aka Ala Modalindi story penned by Nandini Reddy is first
of its kind. Director Ravi Thyagarajan has come out with an
extraordinary screenplay, but the narration falls draggy at places.
Music by D. Imman is one of the
highlights of Yennamo Yedho and are equally well picturised. 'Nee Enna
Periya Appatucke' rendered by Anirudh and 'Shut up Your Mouth' by Shruti
Haasan are to watch for.
Cinematographer Gopi Jagadeeswaran and editor I J Alen have given their best in maintaining the quality of the product.
Analysis:
Yennamo Yedho is a breezy romantic love
story with light hearted emotional touch. Director, cinematographer,
editor and hero being new to the industry tried to deliver their best.
Both the first and second half of the movie are entertaining. But
pre-climax and the climax scenes have rib-tickling comic sequences that
will make you enjoy the light hearted film to the most.
Final Verdict: Yennamo Yedho, a light hearted rom-com [Summer feast]...
